The Nexus 7, or the Nexus 7 (2013) is the newest Nexus device. It was announced on July 24th, and went on sale on July 30th. As the name suggests, this is the second generation Nexus 7, which replaced the older Nexus 7. The device was released alongside Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, being the first device to ship with the version. It has since been updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The device is priced slightly higher than the first generation Nexus 7, at $229 for the 16GB model, and $269 for 32GB. It also features improved specs in almost every area, including a rear-facing camera, and the highest resolution tablet screen ever.
