Google Chrome is a web browser made by Google. It is focused on three goals: Speed, Simplicity, and Privacy. It is partially open sourced as Chromium, which in turn was derived from WebKit, which was derived from the KDE project's HTML and JavaScript renderer for use in Safari. The first stable version of Chrome was created on December 11th, 2008. Since then, its usage share among web browsers has grown at an accelerating rate, and currently, Google Chrome is currently the most commonly used browser in the world.
