Boston Dynamics is an engineering company located in Waltham, Massachusetts. They mainly focus on developing advanced robots and software for human interaction. They are particularly known for creating robots such as BigDog, LS3, RiSE and others. The company was founded by Marc Raibert and a couple of his colleagues in 1992. On December 13, 2013 Google bought Boston Dynamics, though they have not yet released how much they bought it for at this time.
