Asus is a computer hardware developer and manufacturer. They produce things such as motherboards, desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, videos cards, and mobile devices. They have created numerous Android products before, and even partnered with Google to created a Nexus product, the Nexus 7. Asus is the 5th biggest computer manufacturer in the world, ranked right after HP, Lenovo, Dell and Acer.
Name
The name Asus came from Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. Only the last four letters of the word were used in order to give the name a high position in alphabetical listings.
